Father’s Day Gift Guide

With all the craziness that’s happening in 2020 so far, I would understand completely if you hadn’t thought about Father’s Day yet. This year, Father’s day will be celebrated in Canada on Sunday, June 21. But with everything that’s going on with Covid-19 it’s likely that we will all be spending this day inside our homes.
I know, I know. The last thing you want as a busy mom with her kids at home 100% of the time is another thing to take up your time. Finding the perfect gift for Father’s Day can be stressful even in normal times, but during a pandemic year? It can crank that stress dial right up to 11. Luckily, I’ve put together a Father’s Day Gift Guide together so you don’t have to scrounge around the internet for the perfect ideas.

Just take a deep breath and let me give you some peace of mind. Father’s Day is a day of celebration and shouldn’t cause any extra stress to you. Pandemic or no pandemic.

If you have a family tradition for Father’s day and you won’t be able to do it this year, try to modify the tradition slightly so it fits the situation. For example, a picnic in the park could become a picnic in your backyard or in your living room. Or you could start a new tradition this year that could be as simple as a specific food or a scenic drive.

If you are a parent to a newborn and this is the first time you will be celebrating Father’s Day at home, it will be an extra special day no matter what you do!

Solios watches

Maybe you’re looking for something that’s fashionable and eco-friendly? Watches are timeless (pun intended) gifts that are perfect for Father’s Day. Solios is a Canadian company that creates premium stainless watches with sapphire-coates glass that are built to last a lifetime.

Whereas normal watches will need multiple batteries over their lifetime, Solios watches are solar powered and will last forever. The world could end tomorrow and the watch would just keep ticking. Solios is a company that has its quality marching hand in hand with its ethics, wearing its heart on its sleeve as it avoids wasteful design and packaging.

Most people think that being ecologically friendly means compromising, but Solios’ solar-powered watch combines style and eco-responsibility while having a clear objective – to create positive change and promote sustainability.
All of their watches are stylish, high quality, and sustainability sourced.
You can help out even more by donating 5% of your purchase by using the code “Savetherainforest” or get an extra strap for your watch by using the code “extrastrap”.

Gifts for Father’s Day 2020: For all dads under quarantine

Those items are the most popular gifts for Father’s Day for 2020. With everything closed around us, we all have been starting to do more things at home. One of the most demanded products this spring was a haircut kit for men and DIY kits for small-scale home repairs. I’m sure you all can understand why. I think this will make a perfect gift during this time and be very useful for the future as well.

One of the good things about this quarantine is that people have had a little more time to try new things whether that’s baking, cooking more for themselves, or starting up a craft. Anything that you can do to take the time spent indoors and turn it into a positive will help not only just on Father’s Day, but also in general.

When thinking of gifts this year, don’t go for more traditional things like a tie or something that would go in his office. Instead, find a gift that has an escapist element to it or that can be used indoors in a way that would make us all social distancing that much better. Here are my best ideas:

Consider gifting your dad some unique, tobacco-free shisha products from Canada this Father’s Day

This is all. Hope you like my list. Thank you for reading!
